It was hard to believe last week when Don Brash, a former National party leader and Governor of the Reserve Bank made a bid for the leadership of the Act party of which he was not even a member.\\
What is even more amazing is that the former leader has now resigned and Don Brash is about to become the leader of the party and he is not even a Member of Parliament.
